fred says x 3:
"the key to real forgiveness is to understand that forgiveness has nothing at all to do with overlooking a sin or crime that has been committed against you. it is simply realizing that no crime or sin has been committed, that you are in danger nowhere in the universe, and that there is no person or force outside of your own mind that could ever hurt you."

fred says x 2:
"if you cannot see the inherent perfection in all things and in all aspects of your life, simply make yourself larger. expand your perspective until the full perfection of everything becomes visible. to see the unseen, simply look toward the area of appropriateness and surrender your focus, not trying to see anything. now, extend the parameters of your consciousness. look beyond where you expect something to be. look larger. much larger!"

fred says:
"there are no limits to the abilities in a human mind that are not fundamentally beliefs about the limits of that mind. in the end, there are no limits to the creative/intuitive mind other than those stemming from the individual's belief system."

robert says:
"truth lies within ourselves; it takes no rise from outward things, whate'er you may believe. there is an inmost center in us all, where truth abides in fullness and to know rather consists in opening out a way whence the imprisoned splendor may escape than in effecting entry for light supposed to be without."

carlos says x 2:
"'your life is getting complicated,' he said. 'get rid of whatever it is that's causing you to lose your temper. stay here quietly and rearrange yourself.'"

carlos says:
"he described will as a force which was the true link between men and the world. he was very careful to establish that the world was whatever we perceive, in any manner we may choose to perceive. he maintained that 'perceiving the world' entails a process of apprehending whatever presents itself to us. this particular 'perceiving' is done with our senses and with our will. i asked him if will was a sixth sense. he said it was rather a relation between ourselves and the perceived world."

"Just A Little Ditty"
yesterday i attended training for my company's latest technology. it involves touch screen computers and relearning all i know. i have worked for my company six years and six months which when approximately estimated comes to one thousand seven hundred eighty nine days. during my training, my first session of many, i sat in front of a computer. a woman spoke to me through a speaker of the changes that will take place. the first is the elimination of paper. i pondered if i'll miss it. i do enjoy my handwriting. my thoughts then turned to the inventors of the all great office supplies i may soon no longer use. i wonder how these men and women feel about their creations' future and potentially permanent irrelevance. "are you there?" the woman asked.

(un)fortune:
that the grip with which we carry our beliefs dictates not only our words but who we speak to, sleep with, laugh at and love.

second opinion
by viggo mortensen.
The rain is infected
with bacteria
from secret experiments
of lonely men
and women.
It is that time
between winter
and spring
that is dismal
and threatening,
when the city
is airing its sweat-
stained corridors,
opening its arms
and legs imperceptibly
for an hour each morning.
Calm voices give whispered
instructions and hands
flutter
in the streetlight
hiding animal faces
that glisten
with swollen
red tongues.
Quietly,
they devour
each other.
Grateful
spasms,
violent motion
of interlocking,
clawing,
taunting.

startled into life like fire
by charles bukowski.
in grievous deity my cat
walks around
he walks around and around
with
electric tail and
push-button
eyes
he is
alive and
plush and
final as a plum tree
neither of us understands
cathedrals or
the man outside
watering his
lawn
if I were all the man
that he is
cat --
if there were men
like this
the world could
begin
he leaps up on the couch
and walks through
porticoes of my
admiration.

my dream #1
i dont remember but it was apocalyptic. i could barely see but what i could kept changing based on what others decided for me ... the smallest and most careless act on others parts greatly affected me -- i marvelled at my insignificance.

his dream #1
a little girl he knew was being h(a)unted by THE BLACK MONSTER. THE BLACK MONSTER was a blank faced hooded figure who visited in sleep. she was h(a)unted by THE BLACK MONSTER because of a necklace she wore, cursed?. it was understood that for THE BLACK MONSTER to go away she would need our hero's help. so he waited outside her room until just before she slept, then entered and confronted. he had to say formal things like "i must insist you leave now" and wait until HE did.
did HE? i am curious.
he thinks, but isnt sure. he awoke just before it finished so repeated it in waking. to solidify the deal.
on this topic in retrospect he says "it was going to be a battle. i was appointed this duty, and was going to follow through."
i hope it did the trick.

osho's ten commandments:
1. never obey anyone's command unless it is coming from within you also.
2. there is no god other than life itself.
3. truth is within you, do not search for it elsewhere.
4. love is prayer.
5. to become a nothingness is the door to truth.
nothingness itself is the means, the goal and
attainment.
6. life is now and here.
7. live wakefully.
8. do not swim -- float.
9. die each moment so that you can be new each moment.
10. do not search. that which is, is. stop and see.
